Looking and Thinking

By looking at the picture on the left, you may have a few questions pooping out of your mind?
What are the objects and their physical relationships?

Looking and thinking come hand in hand.

Let's say if there are 3 objects in the picture.
I suppose the relationship is clearer.

But what if there is only 2 planks?
Is there anything wrong?

Challenge your imagination!
Our minds are always gorgeously wonderful.

Any comments?

If there were only two planks, I suppose the vertical one would have to have a zig zag at it's center. However then, we would not call it a plank as it were not straight.
Alternatively my eye wants the horizontal plank's outer vertical "side" to lay "in front" of the vertical plank (which instead is drawn "behind").

Can you make any more sense out of it?
